A mountainous woods fire in Harrison County on Monday is believed to have started by a in residence burning trash.  That fire had several fire departments fighting the brilliancy well into Monday night.

More than two dozen firefighters responded to three distinguish locations in Harrison County.  All three areas had dim-witted terrain being consumed by smoke and flames.  An estimated 150 acres of terra firma burned on Monday.  

The most troublesome fire was near Landon Technique and County Farm Road.  For much of Monday night, firefighters kept an eye on the smoldering earth.  Harrison County's fire marshal says tires, old cars, and RVs parked on that belongings gave the fire enough fuel to burn for several more hours.
