Ridgewood Art Institute honors best of the best

"This is the largest clothing ever," said R.A.I. instructor/trustee John Osborne. "The show is reaching out further to Large Island and to Poughkeepsie." He said there were 182 submissions with 143 paintings selected for display. The judges for the selection and awards were Holly Pyne Connor and Steve Zarenski. Mistress and non-professional artworks were judged on an equal basis, and only accepted works are being shown. More than $5,000 in scratch and merchandise was awarded with a top prize of $1,000.

The show features oils, watercolor, and pastel. Subjects included landscapes, seascapes, cityscapes, floral and still entity and portrait paintings.

"Portraits are very strong – good person and portrait work," said Osborne.

The prestigious Arthur F. Maynard Endowment for Best Light and Atmospheric Effect was presented to Diana DeSantis for "Johanna," a theatrical portrait of a ballerina. Maynard taught painting for more than 40 years and is considered the patriarch of the Ridgewood Art Originate. Other portrait winners were: "Cathy" by Rick Perez, who received the Blick Awarding; and "Promise" by Aleksandra Nowak was chosen for the B. Antranig Memorial Grant.

Ich bin heute hier um euch einen kurzen Einblick in die verfügbaren Designs unseres Streckeneditors zu geben. Unser Ziel für den Streckeneditor war es, euch den Spaß und die Freiheiten der PS3 zu bieten und das Ganze in eine Construct zu packen, die in eure Tasche passt. Ich denke, dass wir auch genau das geschafft haben. Schaut`s euch an.

Wir fangen an indem wir eines der vier verfügbaren Designs auswählen: Ich habe mich für das Seaside Lay out entschieden. In diesem Advertise werde ich euch die Möglichkeit demonstrieren, zum ersten Mal mit der “Spline” zu fahren (also die Grundlage für die Strecke zu legen). Außerdem werden wir das Territory ein wenig formen und dekorieren um der Strecke ein wenig Persönlichkeit zu verpassen.

Also: Zuallererst suchen wir uns mal eine Stelle, an der wir die Start-/ Ziellinie mit der L-Soup platzieren wollen… und dann geht es auch schon los! Ihr werdet eine ganze Reihe von Dingen auf dem “First Tour” Bildschirm entdecken.
