On Jan. 25, Martin County home designer Kimberly Perron is mixing wine and design to stipulate tips for home decor and benefit a good cause.

Perron, who owns Decorating Den in Jensen Coast, said guests will awaken their inner Martha Stewart while sipping on the wine from spots spanning the globule from the island of Sicily to a mountain village in Germany. An interior decorator for more than two decades, Perron will dispense photographs of six spaces designed around the flavors of various wines.

The designs series from the "light, airy color-schemes of a spirited Pinot Grigio to the involved, rich colors of a lovely Shiraz," Perron said. "You don't after to be too literal and pair a red wine with an all red room. It's going to be something subtle."

Perron also hopes to animate guests to make creative changes in their living space.

"It (decorating) changes the vigour in a space ... interior design is an investment in your home," Perron said. "In this conservation, a lot of people have found the value of being home with family. It's the perfect place to recharge.
