Khartoum – Bank of Sudan announced Wednesday its new policies for the year 2012, in great part centred on the need to sustain monetary bulk and stability of the reprimand of exchange.

Governor of Bank of Sudan Dr. Mohamed Kheir told a subject to conference that the Bank’s new policies are based on directives and policies of the 3-year outline devised by the Government to address the issue of lack of balance in the Sudanese conservation caused by the loss of oil revenues.

He stressed the importance of implementing the 3-year scheme, adding that a presidential committee headed by the President of the Republic and comprising the productive sector ministers has been set up to follow up execution of the programme.

The Governor announced a craze for geographical expansion of banks beginning with the central bank which will open-minded five branches in five States: West Darfur, South Kordofan, Dirty Nile, Sennar and Kassala, adding that other banks will also have the freedom to distend in States.
