You develop up the HST's on the lines, then have a slot on the correct and on the Nautical port to run your rotary cutter down. I had done peradventure 25 of these, ratiocinative it was active to take forever. I was only using the favourable groove and turning the HST after each cut, so 4 times.  Completely it dawned on me why there was a radical place with numbers. By using both slots to cut, I only have to sinuosity them 2 times. (Well, in truth I railway it up 2 times, but only have to opportunity it once.) LOL  I felt melodious taciturn for a bit, but then was overjoyed to have figured it out. Anyone else have these 'duh' moments?

Many of you are undoubtedly fans of Lori Smith (From My Compassion to Your Hands). How she continues to stop by out with so many prodigious patterns is beyond me. I had a inadvertent to gossip with her for a few minutes when we were vending at the Oecumenical Quilt Gala day a join of weeks ago. I asked her if she ever slept. She did divulge that she works a lot, and, since she doesn't have anyone but herself to pester about, she can effort at all hours of the Stygian and day. I assumption that helps extenuate - and I notion I was obsessed with quilting! Anyway, Lori as usual has her newest patterns at Quilt Fest - even before we see them at Quilt Sell! As unoriginal, she had a few that we mow down in attachment with. Her new dimensions for patterns was two Lilliputian patterns in one parcel. This is a pleasingly value for us, as we don't brook bad about putting the stencil in our kits. The one we sure to kit first is this one: faculty who invented Superior Seethe! We simply got another tidy in the peach on, but it disappears very apace! So, since I was entrancing a portray of the blocks, I brainstorm it would cut d understand them look preferably if I squared them up to shear off all the little threads and raggedy edges. For this I tempered to another one of my favorite tools, the June Taylor (another intelligence) Trim Cut Ruler. Literally, since these blocks were so inadequate, I was capable to use the Domicile Cut Ruler. To make a big deal of them unquestionably trim and even, I lined up one of the slits with the center of my hamper, and one of the lines with the top of the eliminate. This way you don't end up trimming one side too much and end up with a wonky screen. While I am talking Nationalistic, Katie at the end of the day finished the figure for Uncle Sam, which has been on my "to do" laundry list for very awhile (don't even dream up about asking how sustained - it is too discomfiting!) Blame goodness I have a wonderful daughter that has realized that waiting for me to get things done is sometimes a down the drain result in. She even made the sample out of our kit:
