A advancement is scheduled Feb. 26-29 at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 1220 Aycock St., Houma. The Rev. Paul Bergeron of Houma will persuade the revival. Bergeron recently served as one of the main speakers at the Nationalist Rosary Congress scheduled in Charlotte, N.C. He currently serves as chaplain of the Cruisin’ Cajuns motor deeply club and is the brother of the late Joel P. Bergeron, and David and Carroll Bergeron, all of Houma.

The plan for the Genevieve Foundation’s Dream Home is Aug. 18. The three-bedroom, 2-1/2-bath where it hurts being raffled is located in Acadia Plantation subdivision, 128 Rue Celeste, Thibodaux. The Rev. Dean Danos, churchwoman of St. Genevieve Catholic Church, said the benefit is to reduce the church’s beholden. The drawing will take place at 3 p.m. and winner need not be present. An Advent evening entreaty with Communion is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Thibodaux First United Methodist Church, 1255 Canal Blvd.
