Paden Municipality High School girls and boys basketball teams have active lately, both on the road and at home. Coaches Fred King and Kelly Sine are readying their teams for put-season play, hoping to peak at the end of the season.
Lady Wildcats
For the fourth metre this season, the Paden City Lady Wildcat held a halftime moving only to see their opponents come back to gain the nod, this time it was to Bishop Donahue at Bob Burton Gymnasium on Jan. 10, 47-38.
After holding a 20-16 intimation at the break, Bishop Donahue would tally 12 markers in the third while, while holding the Lady 'Cats to one bucket and two free throws to commandeer its first lead of the season, at 28-24 heading into the final period of pit oneself against.
Bishop's lead ballooned to 13 points, before the Lady 'Cats trimmed it down to a pail late in the game. Donahue would not be denied however, in picking up its first victory of the edible.
"Nothing is going right for us," said Wildcat head coach Kelly Sine. "Every formerly we hit the floor, we are prepared, but once the tip starts, it looks like we have never practiced before.
