Over the history few years, Paul Meitzner has been often asked when he is common to go on social security.
Meitzner, 83, is reluctantly doing so this week.
The proprietor of Meitzner Drapery & Upholstering, 2214 E. Douglas, has closed the problem that his papa started in 1935.
Meitzner said his wanting robustness is the big point behind the outcome.
"It was upright a fine small deal," he said. "Having to jail it down was pulchritudinous agitated."
Meitzner leaves behind a occupation that he joined in 1953 and one that produced custom-made draperies for some well-known Wichita companies, such as the former Bank IV. At its climax the company had four employees. Meitzner said more
recently it was down to himself and one wage-earner, Carmen Singleton, who has worked for Meitzner for 30 years.
Paul Meitzner was 26 when he joined the society that Max Meitzner started as an upholstery question.
"He was starting to bring out the drapery house a slight bit," Paul Meitzner said.
