Erstwhile to the ball, the queen of the 2010 ball, Miss Corinne Margaret Till, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Francis Plough, was escorted into the ballroom. After the strip played the national anthem, the captain and his lieutenants entered and greeted the assembled guests. A terse tableau was then presented.
The captain’s whistle signaled the look-in of the main curtain, revealing the royal throne from which the king greeted his guests and received the maids.
Following the launch of the maids to his majesty, trumpets sounded, initiating the royal coronation walk. The queen of the ball, Miss Claire Elizabeth Plauché, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Anthony Plauché, entered the ballroom escorted by Mr. John Peter Labouisse III. Once the majesty and queen were seated on the royal throne, several debutantes of the season were presented by the matron, Mrs. Balad Wing Tebo II. The visuals was followed by a grand march of the 2011 court.
Maids in the court were Misses Margaret Claire Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Harold Adams; Elizabeth Parks Gambel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Joseph Gambel; Madeline Tahquamenon Notable, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Alfred Hero III; Hayley Louise Hoefer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Ernst Hoefer; Leigh Frances Martin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thomas Martin Jr.; Kimball Elizabeth Nicholson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Kimball Nicholson; Mary Elizabeth Sentimenté Rodrigue, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Patrick Rodrigue; Elizabeth Ann Twomey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Michael Twomey; and Kelsey Christine Warren, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Warren.
