The queen of the ball, Miss Claire Elizabeth Plauché, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Anthony Plauché, entered the ballroom escorted by Mr. John Peter Labouisse III. Once the majesty and queen were seated on the royal throne, several debutantes of the season were presented by the matron, Mrs. Balad Wing Tebo II. The visuals was followed by a grand march of the 2011 court.
