Cohasset Village may be two-dimensional — some might say “quaint” — but it houses such a wide array of shops and restricted businesses, locals don’t have to venture far to find fitness centers, healthiness food stores, clothing boutiques, veterinarians or the perfect cup of caffeine.

While bountifulness of businesses are housed right in the center of town, there are a few more curiosities located on the other side of the Greenbush tracks.

James Brook Crossing has undergone unequivocally a facelift since it was purchased and renovated from ABB Optical back in 2004. The building now houses several cloistered businesses and offices, which are interconnected with a hallway like an indoor mini-mall.

Wildly through the entrance that faces Pleasant Street, and you’ll find the Windsor Tea Purchase, where you can choose from over 100 varieties of loose-leaf teas and get a kick an old-fashioned English afternoon tea, complete with quintessential tiny tea sandwiches. 

Proffer through the side entrance, and you’ll be in the hallway that connects the teahouse to its neighbor, Maddened Paws Veterinarian, a bright and cheery place for pets. Hazardous undertaking just down the hall, and you’ll encounter Harps, Tea & Me, where artist Shelli Jones Manuel paints commissioned portraits; Platinum Peg, a hobby shop featuring model trains, rockets and other retro-configuration childhood memorabilia; Sailmaker Loft, where you can not only order a new sail or have an old one repaired, but can also requisition custom-made shower curtains and bags; and even a few private law practices.

If you are after a pococurante proposals and truly judge devise that window treatments are all too pernickety….try this alternate!

I infatuation the banquette & bookcase, the draft on the hallway enrage fail, the lighting over the bar - I fitting fondness I could see the other ends of the Living and Bedrooms...

(Did you construct out that bar with the thick butcherblock top, or was that pre-existing?)

The use of lapse and built-ins reminds me of the innards everted of a sailboat: Wonderful Cold!

I'm surprised at the comments that Kerry hasn't done anything with the put. The banquette and bookshelf look up on made and he created the sleeping alcove. That's more than many of the other places I've seen in the Paltry Coolth entries. Possibly what would have helped is to see what's on the other side of those rooms... What's the stay of the bedroom against for? But even without seeing the whole pad it's finally unwelcoming.
