Glenda Losh, author of TAY'-CHO gallery and Carolyn Scheffel, owner of Carolyn's Gallery, opted to unravel their respective business issues with a creative flair. They joined forces to permit both galleries to continue serving their community.
TAY'-CHO, a progressive gallery representing both emerging and grant-winning artists opened in 2011 by Losh at 195 S. Key Ave., and longtime Bartow art staple Carolyn's Gallery will soon be located under one roof.
Losh is compelling her entire operation to the Carolyn's Gallery building at 395 E. Summerlin St.
"We are two bifurcate businesses combining locations," Losh said.
The arrangement benefits both gallery owners.
While Scheffel's affair was surviving thanks to a loyal clientele developed over the years, the 65-year-old had arduousness finding time and energy to operate the gallery and create frames since her soothe died in 2007.
For years, Scheffel ran the gallery and her husband, Jim McClellan, built the frames. She's been doing both for the last five years.
