Ransacking: At 9:45 a.m. on Jan. 25, two suspects kicked in the fourth-floor apartment door at 77 Focal point Ave. demanding to know where the safes were as they each pulled handguns on a 21-year-old skirt and her 3-year-old son. The suspects stole $700, two gold-colored chains, a gold-colored bracelet, five gold-colored rings, the casualty’s cell phone and camera. The gunmen were described as dark-skinned males, wearing all sooty with black ski masks speaking Spanish. They fled the scene, match north on Centre Avenue toward Huguenot Street. Only the mother and youth were home at the time of the robbery, but other family members live in the stately home. No injuries were reported.
Forcible Touching/Endangering Welfare of a Woman: On Jan. 25, New Rochelle resident Jesus Flores, 26, allegedly threw his girlfriend to the territory and climbed on top of her as he touched her without her permission. As the two struggled in the Webster Avenue apartment, their 5-year-old daughter hit Flores with a curtain rod. Flores allegedly took the curtain rod from the green girl and proceeded to strike her on her buttocks. He smashed the woman’s room phone after she attempted to dial 9-1-1. Police said the girl ran out of the apartment screaming for help, and one of the neighbors called police. Monitor arrested Flores in the apartment. He was charged with forcible touching, fourth-step little by little criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child, misdemeanors.
